12,000 years ago: Earth endured a cataclysmic reset. Much of humanity was wiped out, setting the stage for a long period of rebuilding and forgetting.
The last 6,000 years: According to Ensworth, we've been at our lowest point: the Kali Yuga, or "age of darkness," marked by disconnection from our true selves, each other, and the cosmos.
